So, who the heck is this guy?

I'm an Engineering Manager at Technosylva, working remotely from Galicia ❤️ (Spain). I lead the engineering team behind FireRisk, a multi-tenant SaaS platform for wildfire risk intelligence and operational response. My focus is on growing the team, our architecture and how we deliver, while keeping close to the code.

Before that, I spent seven years at Sngular. Most recently as Principal Engineer, heading platform architecture and modernization on GCP for a joint venture product, and as Backend and Quality Engineering Chapter Lead, supporting engineering teams and shaping technical proposals across the organization. Earlier, from the US side of the business, I led engineering for major financial institutions: real-time stock exchange applications powered by Kafka, enterprise MFA login infrastructures, and quality practices adopted and scaled across massive organizations.

That enterprise experience deeply connected me with Contract Testing. It led to a collaboration with SmartBear around their Swagger Contract Testing product (formerly PactFlow) and became the foundation for much of what I wrote when I started with technical articles.
